Kennedy Seaface in Mumbai





























Girgaum chowpatty is one the most famous tourist attractions of Mumbai, if you use the local train, you can get down at the 'Churni Road' station on the western line to reach it.















But what's this Kennedy Sea-face in Mumbai?
Well, the Marine Drive or Netaji Subash Chandra Bose Road as it is now known was previously called as Kennedy Sea Face. Phew!
Begun on 18th Dec 1915, it took 5 years to make and in 2010, it will be a 90 years' old!
The only reminiscent of the old Kennedy Sea-face name in Mumbai is left with a lamp post erected to commemorate the construction of the the landmark sea face in mumbai.
Don't miss this lamp post next time you visit it, it's just near the Girgaun chowpatty.

SEEPZ Lake! A walk around after lunch
